In the game the player takes on the role of the protagonist from the book and film, Eragon, and occasionally controls his dragon Saphira. The game was generally received poorly by critics, usually receiving press averages around the 4-6 out of 10 region (or the equivalent).[4][5] The combined sales in North America were over 400,000 copies.[6]

Blood Wake is a naval combat video game that was released in 2001 on the Xbox as part of Microsoft's initial wave of Xbox launch titles. Set in an Asian-themed fictional world, Blood Wake is a story-driven, mission-based high seas action game in which the player controls a series of small fighting vessels. Some reviewers described its gameplay as "Twisted Metal on water," although its mission-based story line differentiated Blood Wake from Twisted Metal's arena-based gameplay.

Hot Wheels Turbo Racing is a racing video game for the Nintendo 64 released in 1999. It features vehicles based on the Hot Wheels series of toys. It also features Kyle Petty's 1999 NASCAR stock car, as it was sponsored by Hot Wheels. It also features music from artists like Primus and Mix Master Mike. The focus of the game is racing one of a selection of cars through various themed tracks. Secret tracks can be accessed by winning and new cars can be used by finding the 'new car' bonuses hidden in each stage.

NASCAR 99, the arcade-style racing game from EA and Stormfront Studios. This collector's edition celebrates the 50th anniversary of NASCAR. The game is completely identical to NASCAR 98, except that Darlington has been added to the list of tracks and the racing legend Richard Petty has been added to the driver's roster, along with the obvious cover art changes. Built on the Tony La Russa Baseball engine, Old Time Baseball includes complete lineups of every major league team from 1871 to 1981, totaling 12,000 players.

ESPN National Hockey Night was one of the many hockey games released back in the day. This one featured all the NHL teams for its time, but lacked an official players license.
