Hammer Boy is a game based on the essentials of HAND HELD-type machines, easy to use, simple but highly addictive. Once the enemy or the object that is going to penetrate our fortress is within reach of our hammer, the blow will finish with it. If a greater number of two enemies enter (in the Spectrum, Amstrad and MSX versions) or five in the other versions, our fortress will be conquered. An equal number of thrown objects that penetrate will cause us to lose a life.

Mega Phoenix brings the concept of the earlier arcade game Phoenix into the 90s, to the extent that a coin-op version was later made by Inder. The game is a single-screen shoot ‘em up in which the player moves left to right while shooting several waves. There is a shield function available, which lasts for a short period of time (after which it must recharge to be used again) and it paralyses the craft while active. The first waves consist of several small alien beings in a set pattern, which move down from the fleet towards the player at random intervals- contacts with these kills the player. Deadly phoenixes firing at you come next, followed by the Mega Phoenix itself and then a final boss, before it all repeats with higher difficulty.

A.M.C.: Astro Marine Corps is a sideways scrolling shooter in which you control a member of the Astro Marine Corps who has to blast his way through the various alien infested levels. You have three lives and each life has an energy bar which is depleted by contact with aliens and can be replenished by picking up the 'E' powerup. Other powerups include three way fire and an overhead shield. There are various instant death hazards you must avoid such as a plant which smothers you and a dragon which devours you and spits out your bones.

Cosmic Sheriff was one of the first computer games to enable the Gun-Stick optical gun system, manufactured by the Spanish company MHT Ingenieros, a revolutionary hardware developed specifically for 8-bit computers. Army Moves is a one-player game which is divided into two parts. In part one, you drive a jeep and must avoid collision with other jeeps and being shot at by helicopters. Then, you fly around in a helicopter and the oject is to bring down airplanes without being shot at by the airplanes themselves, submarines, and any other ground fire. Make sure you land on the pad near the end. In part two, you start out in the jungle and must jump from rock to rock without crashing into toucans (shoot at them to make them fly higher) and being blown to bits. Then you have to make your way to the general's offices shooting soldiers on the way, and finally, locate the secret documents. When you complete the seven sections of Army Moves, you'll receive a higher bonus. Some versions have a high score table to record your achievements. The second section must be loaded seperately, using a code attained from completing part one, on some versions.

Queen Gremla rules over five confederations of planets thanks to a powerful army of Terminators led by Arkos, her most faithful servant, until the queen's contempt caused her to go over to the enemy army led by McKiller. The game is divided into three phases, in the first one Arkos must face the Terminators on the planet Hypsis, from where Gremla obtains the raw materials. The second takes place on the planet Sckunn where Arkos has to get hold of a fighter capable of defeating Gremla's radars. The third phase takes place on the Palace Planet, where the Gremla palace is located that Arkos aims to destroy.

Dustin is an "escape from Alcatraz" style game for the Sinclair Spectrum. The player controls a convict who must bust his way out of prison and escape from the island. In order to do this the player must beat up prison guards collect/ steal/ barter various items around the prison grounds. The HUD has 8 inventory slots, an alert meter to show whether the guards are on the convicts trail, a clock to show the time of day and an energy meter. Dustin involves a lot of point-and-click adventure style trial and error gameplay as the convict needs to collect various items in a certain order and then use them in the right places. One of the games difficulties was in finding out whereabouts to go around the prison since a lot of the screens where identical to each other. Dustin is a more primitive version of games like The Great Escape and is part of the legacy of prison break themed titles.

The protagonist, Johny Jones, have been mutated by the curse of Abu Simbel, becoming a strange creature that only conserves his enormous nose of his old appearance. In order to get rid of the curse he is forced to travel to Egypt to the pyramid where is the tomb of Abu Simbel, and where it must arrive after discovered the keys that will lead him to this place. If he obtains it, he will recover his normal appearance. As logical, the pyramid is filled of traps and strange creatures who will suppose a serious obstacle for our pretensions, and the only weapon is our skill to be jump from a side to another one without falling in the claws of our enemies, or the traps that are in all places. He can do long or short jumps, according to the situation in which one is.
