Boxes Grow Cats
First, put a box on your computer desktop. Then wait, patiently. When the time comes, open it up and collect the cat that's grown inside. It really is that simple! Oh — and if you tuck a cat back into a box, it might just send a blessing your way.

About This Game
I mean, do I really need to explain?
If you’ve spent any time around cats, you know the drill.
A delivery box you’ve just opened. A suitcase you haven’t even started packing…
Leave one sitting there for a little while, and what happens?
Well, would you look at that.
It’s grown a cat!
Your cat can settle into a tiny companion with a transparent background
quietly tucked away in a corner of your desktop.
Whether you’re working, studying, or sneaking in a little break
just glance over.
There it is.
Short-haired, long-haired, black, white, and every color in between…
Every cat has its own idea of what a cat should look like. Perfectly normal.
What’s that?
Some have nine tails? And others have tentacles?
Look, let’s not ask too many questions.
They’re just rare new breeds.
That’s all!
So of course, boxes aren’t the only things that can grow cats.
Washbasins, frying pans, teacups…
any of them might sprout a cat!
Gather all sorts of wonderfully odd containers
then sit back and wait for your next crop of cats.
Tuck your cats back into the box and make a wish.
A proper, heartfelt one.
Good health, a peaceful life, happiness, a sudden windfall…
Or type in a little wish that’s all your own.
Then give it a moment.
You might just get a reply from the cats.
May they send a little warmth and their very best wishes your way!
