Gods are an existence that must hold love for humans and be worshiped by humans. Kusanagi Yui, the daughter of a Shinto shrine, happens upon a mysterious sword in her cellar one spring day. The sword's power throws her into an unknown world, and it is here she encounters Zeus, the chief god of Greek mythology. He informs her that the weak bond between gods and humans is causing a negative impact on the world. To fix this phenomenon, Zeus wants her to go to a school in a garden world he created, live together with the problematic gods, and teach them about what humans are and the meaning of love.

Because it exists in the underworld even the owner and waiter at the cafe are contract killers. While Ichigo is wary, the owner of the cafe Tsukimi explains that he has accepted a certain request. "This request isn't a kill contract, it's to protect you. That's why we brought you here. Once we've taken on this request we will definitely protect you." Because of a certain past trauma, Ichigo lost her voice, and with no relatives or place to go she half doubtingly accepts a job as a waitress at the cafe. "Who on earth is targeting me? And who asked these killers to protect me? What will ... happen to me from now on?" A story about dealing with various people from the underworld, like contract killers, smugglers, and weapons merchants while solving a multi-layered mystery and chasing after the sealed truth.

Detective Evangelion (Meitantei Evangelion), an adventure/strategy PS2 game published by Broccoli, follows Shinji Ikari, a detective hired by Nerv, as he attempts to uncover the truths behind a series of murders. The game was released in Japan on Jan 17, 2007 and include voices from all the original Seiyū. There were 2 editions of the game: a standard edition which included a Nerv magnifying glass/key chain if you pre-ordered; and the premium edition (about 26,040円) which included a multi-face analog watch. You play as Shinji the detective in an adventure style gameplay, talking to the Nerv personel and other people in the environment in order to pick up clues within the conversations. The game starts as Shinji emerges from an outdoor stall with sirens blaring in the background. He then finds Rei Ayanami being attacked by a teenager with tentacles. Shinji must then fight the teenager in order to free Rei. From this point on, you pick locations and explore, the ultimate goal being to discover the identity of the killer that's committing murders all over Nerv and Tokyo-3. At each of the locations, you can interact with the people there, with the occasional action sequence or mini game. All of Shinji's friends, Gendo and Misato all appear in the game.

Emil Chronicle Online was a 3D Japanese fantasy MMORPG with anime-style graphics. Set in the land of Acronia, the game featured twelve classes spread among four races, each with a particular advantage (agility, magic, or strength). Along with a series of quests and battles, the game featured a few standout modes including its marionette system, where players could transform their characters into marionettes, which were Pokémon-like surrogates. Marionettes could live in the world even when players had logged out. There was also a standard pet system outside of this. Players could also turn their characters into weapons that other people could use, gaining both experience. PvP was in RvR format, and massive battles were scheduled regularly in advance for different level groups. As of 2024, no servers for the game are online, with GungHo Online Entertainment announcing that the Japanese server would be shut down on August 31, 2017, citing the impossible task of keeping up with modern players’ demands.

Story centers on a 17 year old guy by the name of Hideki Motosuwa, he resides in an alternate universe of sorts thats filled with things known as Persocom's, a Persocom simply put is a Personal Computer. Unfortunately though, Hideki could never afford a Persocom of his own, and the story begins with him finding an unattended, tied up persocom in a pile of trash, he takes the Persocom home and later discovers as the story progresses that there is a possiblilty that his Persocom is something known as a Chobit. The Story then develops entertainingly around the idea of Chi (Thats what Hideki named her) being a Chobit.
