The classic Painkiller series is back! Battle through Purgatory in fast-paced co-op action, wielding infernal weapons against relentless demonic hordes. Condemned for your sins, the Voice of the Creator offers you a chance at redemption. Will you seize it or be lost to darkness?
Before you press start
The story is thin and the action is the point. Play the original first, or take Hell & Damnation if you want the modern remake. The later add-ons stand alone and suit anyone who still wants more arenas.
More than the main path
Painkiller is a shooter with no time for cover. You sprint through gothic arenas while demons pour in from every side, and the stake gun pins them to the walls. Standalone add-ons from outside teams followed, then Hell & Damnation rebuilt the original in 2012.
