King’s Bounty: The Legend is a fan-favorite classic fantasy adventure and an early entry into the modern King’s Bounty era, built around tough battles, smart decisions, and turn-based tactics.
Before you press start
The Legend is the cleanest starting point and teaches everything that follows. Armored Princess builds directly on it. Warriors of the North and Dark Side are standalone games, so jump to either if Vikings or playing the villain appeals more.
More than the main path
Jon Van Caneghem's original set the template, and Katauri's revival gave it a fresh fantasy coat. You roam the map, hire troops and fight turn-based battles. Later entries sent you north with Vikings in Warriors of the North and handed you the villains in Dark Side.

King’s Bounty: Crossworlds is a standalone expansion that includes Armored Princess, two additional campaigns, and a world editor, expanding the classic King’s Bounty formula with new challenges and content.
