Description
Workaholic Simulator: Leaving the Dream explores the darkness of our contemporary world through the most horrible experience everyone has to endure: work. You will probably find some thematics that you already face everyday if you are a working adult, but the game twists this well known environment to make it a surreal experience. You will never see your work the same way!
Dive into this chilling story through the meticulously crafted environments and bespoke sound design and music. Live the relatable life of your average worker during the day, go to sleep... but even sleep can't let you escape work, as you will have to do your job under even more pressure since nightmarish entities will hunt you in your dreams.
You can never anticipate what you will find through these hallucinated corridors and liminal hallways. Who knows what lurks behind every corner while you walk through these alienated spaces?
The story of the game is for you to unravel, as no voice and almost no text is used during the game. All the narration is done through the mood, the detail in the environment.
You must prepare for the unthinkable, for only your wit and quick-thinking will let you escape this ethereal world.
The different endings of the game will reward the most observant and curious players. On top of all the mysteries you have to unravel by connecting the dots and filling the blanks, there are a lot of secrets to dig out. Always keep your eyes open, but don’t forget you are never truly alone…
