Wireburst: Vector Squadron is a single-player 3D arcade space shooter built around a glowing wireframe visual style. Launch from your carrier, fly through rail-shooter routes, weave through tube-shaped corridors, and break into free-flight combat zones within the same mission.
Every enemy you destroy bursts apart into luminous wire struts, filling the battlefield with laser fire, missile trails, explosions, and shattered debris.
Each sortie begins with a launch sequence from your carrier. Enemy capital ships do not simply appear — warning signals flash, a warp signature opens, and a massive hostile warship drops into the battlefield.
Ships are rendered as glowing wireframes against deep-space backdrops, creating a clean, sharp visual style inspired by classic vector graphics and modern arcade action. You can also switch to an outside camera to view your craft from cinematic angles during flight.
Missions combine multiple styles of space combat:
Rail sections with classic arcade shooting
Tube corridors where you dodge obstacles and pass through gates
Free-flight combat zones where you can move and fight in every direction
Face drones, interceptors, heavy fighters, homing missiles, and a multi-phase enemy battleship. Lock on to multiple targets and release a missile salvo, stay on your main guns to build your combo, or use specialized equipment to control the battlefield.
Choose from multiple craft across different size classes, from agile fighters to heavier warships. Each craft can carry its own loadout of main weapons, sub weapons, and special equipment.
Larger ships change the way you fight. Launch AI-piloted craft from your hangar, send them to attack or escort, and deploy drone swarms against locked targets. Build a loadout that matches your preferred style of combat.
Some missions escalate into large-scale battles against hostile capital ships. Watch for warning signals, survive the warp-in, and then attack key systems as the battle unfolds phase by phase.
Destroy turrets, missile launchers, and main batteries while avoiding incoming fire and keeping your squadron alive.
Wireburst is designed for short, repeatable solo missions. Chase higher scores, maintain your combo, and aim for better stage ranks from C to S.
Three difficulty levels adjust the intensity of battle, while training missions introduce basic flight and fleet operations. The game supports keyboard and mouse or gamepad controls, with English and Japanese text.
