Widget Idle

An idle game that grows as it lives on your desktop.

Fill the grid, collect the stamps, pet the nautilus,

and uncover the forgotten secrets of productivity.

I. Always Playing, Always Productive

Widget Idle uses input generated as you use your computer normally to play.

Clicking, typing, scrolling, mouse travel, CPU load, system volume.

Whether you're productive in a text editor or chilling in a round of a game, you are always feeding the economy's endless hunger. Your clicks will feel just a little bit meaningful as you imagine it bringing you one step closer to your goal...

(Widget Idle never inspects, saves, or uploads the context/content/intent of these interactions)

II. Evolving Companions

These widgets, too, have life cycles. Except theirs don't end...mostly.

Journey with a collection of 16 opinionated desktop widgets as you uncover their quirks, features, secrets, and personalities. We won't be responsible if you get too attached.

III. The Secrets of Productivity

Rest assured. Widget Idle is a completely normal and casual game. Nothing ever happens, and you're only going to hurt your brain if you read into this too much, word.
