About This Game
Whispers is a psychological horror experience presented through the last recorded vlog of a missing vlogger.
You enter an abandoned hospital to retrace their final moments. What begins as an exploration of a forgotten place slowly turns into something far more disturbing, as unexplained sounds, whispers, and strange events begin to blur the line between reality and what may exist only in your mind.
Listen carefully. Something is always there.
Explore the Unknown
Explore three distinct environments: a dark forest, an abandoned hospital, and its basement. As you move deeper into each location, the environment gradually reveals more of the story and the events surrounding the hospital.
Investigate What Happened
Search the environment for notes, newspaper articles, and other clues scattered throughout the hospital. Piece together what happened and uncover the disturbing story hidden within its walls.
But not every answer comes easily. Anonymous notes found throughout the hospital raise new questions and make it increasingly difficult to understand what is really happening.
Listen to the Whispers
Sound is at the heart of Whispers.
Unexplained noises and voices can emerge from different directions, using spatial audio to create uncertainty about what is around you. Whispers may come from somewhere in the environment, surround you from multiple directions, or feel as though they are coming from inside your own mind.
You won't always know where the sound came from.
Question What Is Real
As the footage continues, reality becomes increasingly uncertain.
Disturbing sights and unexplained events begin to appear, making it difficult to tell what is actually happening and what may exist only within the protagonist's mind.
Survive the Experience
Whispers focuses on psychological tension, atmosphere, sound, and anticipation rather than relying entirely on jump scares.
Traditional scares are combined with visual disturbances, environmental changes, and an unpredictable soundscape to keep you constantly questioning what might happen next.
Found-Footage Horror
The entire experience is presented through a VHS-style found-footage aesthetic.
Distorted footage, limited visibility, and eerie environments create a feeling of vulnerability. Darkness doesn't simply hide the environment - it makes you question what you might be seeing.
