WELCOME TO YOUR NEXT SHIFT!
What a Shift! is a chaotic top-down restaurant management roguelite where every shift gets busier, messier, and harder to control.
Take orders, serve burgers, fries and drinks, keep customers happy, and try to hold your restaurant together for as long as you can. Growing queues, impatient customers, rush hours, station problems and even dirty restrooms can turn a smooth shift into complete chaos.
LEVEL UP. PICK A CARD. CHANGE THE RUN.
Earn XP during each shift and choose your upgrade cards when you level up. Shape your restaurant with upgrades that let you:
Improve production speed to keep up with demand.
Expand your restaurant and add furniture.
Reduce station problems to keep things running smoothly.
Build a different setup every run and adapt as the pressure grows.
KEEP EVERYTHING MOVING
Your job doesn't stop at serving food. Manage customer queues, deliver the right products, keep tables available, deal with problems around the restaurant and make sure customers don't run out of patience.
A dirty restroom can create another queue.
A broken station can slow down production.
One bad decision during a rush hour can cost you a life.
FAIL. UPGRADE. TRY AGAIN.
