About This Game
Whalelord is an inventory-management roguelite with a hint of capitalism. Collect rent every second as you build a money-making engine on your back. Arrange buildings, charge taxes, and sell off assets! All because you’re a whale who dreams of flying into space. But getting there is going to take a lot of calories!
BUILD A TOWN ON YOUR BACK 
Arrange buildings on Whiley’s back and collect rent every second. Position houses, shops, decorations, and production buildings to create a tiny economy where every space matters.
BUY LOW. GROW. SELL HIGH.
Assets can increase in value as your engine grows. Keep profitable buildings working or sell them to Seller Seagull at the right moment to afford your ever-increasing upkeep.
SIGN QUESTIONABLE CONTRACTS
Choose buildings, stamps, and binding contracts that change how your economy works. Combine their effects to create powerful synergies and survive each round.

On a distant planet populated by birds, you just found out that you aren’t actually a bird.
You’re a space whale!
You’re getting way too big, and the village that raised you can’t afford your never-ending appetite for peanut butter. To avoid bankrupting your village, it’s time to earn your own upkeep.
How? By becoming a landlord, of course!
The Bird Council has graciously approved a small exception to capitalism for the sake of your survival. And surely it’s ethical when the tenants literally live on your back, right?
But let’s not think too much about that.
