Waves Survive

You find yourself alone in a wild and unknown land. Gather resources, build a shelter, and fight to survive as dangerous waves of enemies threaten to destroy everything you've built. Can you turn this dangerous place into a home and survive each new wave?

The last peaceful day of Xochiatl ended in flames.

Waves Survive is a pixel art survival game set in ancient Mesoamerica. Gather resources, craft tools and weapons, build your settlement and defend it against waves of enemies every night — alone or in online co-op with your friends.

Explore an open world generated from a seed: forests, deserts, red sierras, coasts and lakes. Every biome has its own plants, animals and resources — nopales, agave, cacao, maize, obsidian, jade and more.

Start with almost nothing. Chop, mine and gather to craft tools, weapons and structures. Raise adobe and stone walls, light torches and bonfires, and turn a small shelter into a fortified home.

Build houses and beds to recruit villagers. Grow milpa, carry water, cook tortillas, tamales and pozole, and keep your people alive.

Day is for preparing. Night is for surviving. Every night the waves grow stronger — warriors, archers, panthers and worse. Build walls, place cannons and fight to protect your home and your villagers.

Don't survive alone. Team up with friends online, share the fight and defend the settlement together.

Descend into caves full of bats, hounds and skeletons, mine obsidian and find what waits in the deepest floors.

Face Mictlantecuhtli, lord of the dead, and Tezcatlipoca, lord of the smoking mirror. And never walk alone through the forest at night — La Aparición is watching.

Forge the macuahuitl, the obsidian spear, the Xiuhcóatl and bows of fire and jade. Wear the eagle warrior headdress, the Tláloc mask, jade breastplates and tilmatli cloaks.
