About This Game
“Simple office job somewhere between an autopsy and a survey, friendly coworkers, quiet clients, and amusing gadgets. Even a corporative apartment not quite on the outskirts. Looks like I've landed on my feet. Now, what should I get for dinner?” — such were the casual thoughts of our hero, Konstantin Safin, an inspector at the Republican Neural Safekeeping Service (RNSS). He had no idea what a steep turn his easy life was about to take over the next couple of days.
Voluntary Consent is a detective visual novel set in a fictional world full of black humor, synthetic sounds, and 1-bit graphics. In this game we:
Voluntary Consent is a detective visual novel set in a fictional world full of black humor, synthetic sounds, and 1-bit graphics. In this game we:
- read documents (with our eyes) and minds (with our equipment);
- talk to coworkers, witnesses, and other semi-inanimate objects;
- eat (lunch);
- wander around the city at various times of the day;
- try not to die (or at least not in the dumbest way possible);
- collect (and quietly destroy) evidence;
- casually make tough choice between our conscience, the code of conduct, and the voices in our heads;
- eat again (dinner) and go to bed on time.
