Valenya Online is a free 2D MMORPG with a persistent world, real-time combat and an economy driven by players. Play in English or French and choose your preferred language in the game settings.

Dodge telegraphed attacks, dash into position and line up your skillshots. Positioning and timing matter. Choose from six classes, explore dungeons with your party, then develop your gear through crafting and player markets.

A world to explore

Explore forests, moors, marshes, deserts and tundra. Each region has its own creatures, resources and places to discover, from caves and ruins to hidden points of interest. Follow the main campaign, The Chronicle, and take on regional, profession and class quests.

Real-time combat

Choose your class at character creation. Use line shots, ground-targeted spells, attacks around your character and a dash to avoid danger. Dungeon bosses have their own mechanics, with ground telegraphs, phases and enemies to handle alongside the boss.

Dungeons and raids

Explore group dungeons and raids with equipment sets specific to each location. Party capacities vary by instance, with raids for up to eight players. The Bells Under the Water can accommodate a party of eight.

Crafting

Develop six professions: carpenter, miner, trapper, blacksmith, cook and alchemist. Craft equipment and supplies from hundreds of recipes in a queue that keeps running while you play. Professions depend on one another: the blacksmith needs the miner, and the cook needs the trapper.

A player economy

Every village has its own auction house and prices, with buy orders, sell orders and direct trades between players. Trade resources and crafted goods as you travel.

Guilds can form trading companies with a ledger, shares held by members and dividends paid out of profits. Shares can be traded between players.

Play at your own pace

Gather, craft and fight without daily energy or action-point limits. Sunday evening contests rank players in six categories and display the winners on an honour board. We plan to add more events as development continues.

Access

The game is free to play. All content and progression up to the current level cap of 60 are available without a subscription. Only cosmetics are sold for real money. A permanent internet connection and a game account are required.

Valenya Online is made by one developer. It is in active development and its community is still small. Updates continue to expand the content and improve balance and translations.
