About This Game
The candle goes out. Somewhere down the hallway, scissors snip.
By morning another toy lies unstitched on the floor, and every button eye in the room turns to you.
Unstitched is a social deduction game for 4 to 15 players, set in an old house where the toys wake up at night. Most of them only want to mend the clock key and get out. One of them is the Rag Doll, and it wants everyone else in pieces.
Work by night
Every night you slip from room to room - the attic, the kitchen, the greenhouse, the library - running errands. Each errand is a quick, hands-on minigame: embroider along the line, lead every butterfly to its flower, keep your balance on the rocking horse, solder the key without letting a piece slip.
Finished errands earn the Toys the fragments of the key that opens the Clock Hall door. But nobody is alone in a room for long, and the Rag Doll can only unstitch a toy it is standing next to. Watch who walks up to you.
Accuse by day
When a body is found, the whole house is called to assembly. Talk, bluff, defend yourself, and vote: the toy with the most votes is thrown out of the house.
Get it right and the Toys are one step from safety. Get it wrong and you have done the Rag Doll's work for it.
Thirteen roles, one secret each
The Toys
- Wind-up Soldier: stands guard and blocks the first attack on anyone in his room.
- Teddy Bear: has a few seconds to sew a fallen toy back to life.
- Music Box: hypnotises a player and learns their role.
- Marionette: ties two players together. If one falls, so does the other.
- Lucky Die: rolls to make its vote count double or triple.
- Yarn Cat: follows a toy's thread to count the errands it has really finished.
- Rag Chameleon: blends into the room for a night and cannot be chosen as a victim.
- Enchanted Thimble: finishes an errand with a single perfect stitch.
- Toy: no powers. Just sharp eyes and a vote.
The Unstitched
- Rag Doll: smiles by day, unstitches by night.
- Jack-in-the-Box: scares a toy speechless. No voice and no vote at the next assembly.
- Frayed Mouse: listens through the walls to learn which room a toy is in.
- Baby Doll: a toy recruited by the Rag Doll. Clumsy, loyal, and lost without its master.
You decide which roles are in play in every game.
Three ways to play
- Online: open a public or private room on Steam and invite your friends. Up to 15 players.
- Face to Face: one PC is the board and everyone plays from their own phone on the same Wi-Fi. Nothing to install on the phones.
- Solo: play against bots that argue, lie and cover for each other in the assembly chat.
