Centuries ago, a wise ruler won the god’s sacred game and asked for immortality—to rule forever in peace. But endless life shattered his soul, turning the protector into a tyrant. The kingdom burned, the king vanished, and chaos reigned. Now, warlords and nobles fight over the ashes, and the desperate prayers of the people have reached the heavens. In answer, the god deals the cards once more—not to choose a savior, but to test ambition. You are one of the chosen challengers. With only your tokens, your wit, and divine favor, you will face rivals in a battle of deception, power, and timing. Only one can rise. Only one can win the god’s favor.
You are one of the chosen challengers, cast into a divine game of deception. Raise or fold—every move is a test of nerve and wit. Outplay rivals not just with cards, but with strategy, courage, and cold-blooded resolve. Only one can rise. Only one will claim the god’s favor.
Each player receives two private cards. Community cards are revealed in a 3 / 1 / 1 rhythm.
After each reveal, a betting round begins in turn: choose to fold, call, or raise.
When the last active player in the round completes a call or fold and no one raises, that betting round ends immediately and play advances to the next phase.
Winning: If both opponents fold before showdown, you win instantly. Otherwise, at showdown compare the best five-card hand formed from 2 hole cards + 5 community cards.
Blessing Orbs are the gods’ commendation for the bold.
Every decisive action earns their favor:
Blind: +1 Blessing
Call: +1 Blessing
Raise: +2 Blessing
Blessing Orbs can be accumulated up to 5.
Challenge: Your pressure tool—force the next player to raise or fold.
Curse: A precise resource strike—the previous player loses 2 Blessing… but at what cost?
Discipline: Your shield—this round you cannot be targeted by Challenge or Curse.
Prayer: Flip the table—all non-folded players lose 5 Blessing, including you!
Everyone starts with 80 chips; hit zero and you’re eliminated. Is each raise the grace of fortune—or the craft of a strategist? Here, victory is never just about the board. It’s about nerve and cunning.
Every four rounds, a mysterious merchant appears with three random items—Monocle, Compass, Cross, Bell, and Mallet.
Use them wisely to carve a path from the brink—peek at fate’s direction or seed doubt in an opponent’s heart. One well-timed use can overturn the table and rewrite the outcome.
Carry Blessing into the next round and it will be consumed to grant a stronger starting hand. The higher your Blessing, the closer your cards draw to the gods’ choice. But remember: the gods’ choice is not always the path to victory.
The god watches all.
