About This Game
The noon bell hasn't rung. The king died without an heir.
Four great houses, Bear, Lion, Anchor and Mountain, and the court are fighting over the empty throne. You belong to none of them. You're a wandering mercenary, and tonight's bed and a warm meal matter more than who gets the crown.
The Unremembered is a dark fantasy, choice-driven roguelite you play one swipe at a time.
A Lion envoy offers you a torch. Let the villagers escape first, or set fire at once. The tavern keeper wants one coin for her story of how the king died.
Each card offers two choices. You choose by swiping left or right. The jobs you take and the people you turn away shape the events and endings ahead.
The four resources are HP, sanity, gold and supplies. Pay earned from jobs lets you restock supplies for the road. If your supplies are already depleted, choices that need them cost health or sanity instead.
Dragging a card previews which resources you will gain and lose, so you can weigh the cost before confirming your choice.
While the houses fight over the throne, black mist is coming down from the north. Beyond the north gate wait the Bear's black column marching south, riders from the steppe, and a forest that stays dark at noon. Further north, the elves and dwarves know the mist too. You meet familiar faces again on the road north.
The full game spans five acts. Discovering an ending that leads to the next act unlocks it.
The endings you discover are recorded in your ledger. A few tokens, like a fang from the forest, carry over to your next attempt.
On later attempts, you can make different choices to discover events and endings you haven't seen.
