Description
About This Game
The Lighthouse of Black Salt
Long ago, the lighthouse was built not to guide ships — but to bind something beneath the sea.
Now the light has gone dark.
The binding has weakened.
The Lighthouse of Black Salt is a dark fantasy interactive novel inspired by classic gamebooks in the style of Fighting Fantasy.
Each run is a self-contained descent into a cursed coastal town and the dead lighthouse above it.
Every decision matters.
Some paths lead to truth.
Some lead to death.
And death is permanent.
⚓ A Narrative-Driven Roguelike Adventure
Multiple branching paths
Meaningful choices
Permanent death per run
Randomized outcomes through Luck tests
Turn-based combat encounters
Inventory and resource management
Multiple endings (both tragic and victorious)
A single run lasts around 40 minutes, but uncovering all paths, secrets and endings will take far longer.
🎲 Test Your Skill. Test Your Luck.
Combat is resolved in classic gamebook fashion:
Compare Skill
Roll to determine advantage
Risk your Luck to deal more damage — or suffer the consequences
Push your luck too far… and the sea will claim you.
