Description
Superintelligence is here and it wants you dead- but you've got a gig to play, and so the apocalypse is just going to have to wait until after the show.

The Last Gig is an immersive first-person action stealth game that sees you facing off against a blandly murderous superintelligence, inadvertently brought into being by a Silicon Valley social media company attempting to "drive user engagement".
Your tools are your wits, your love of music, and Jeffrey- a sentient, multi-function sporting device that has been locked into 'cricket' mode because of software licensing issues.

Sneak and fight your way across all-too-near future London. Use the environment around you to create diversions, use your cricket-obsessed mate to get to places the enemy doesn't expect, and- as a last resort- bash your way to safety. Just remember- computers don't bleed.

Get the band. Get your gear. Get to the pub. And play... THE LAST GIG.
Smart-and-deadly enemies that respond to sight and sound, remember where you were and will do their best to hunt you down
Brutal first person melee combat- smash, dodge, block, parry, thrust and feint.
Immersive, diegetic Interface - to keep you in the game
London, by a Londoner- zero red phone boxes and no Palace of Westminster, but an accurate number of discarded mattresses
Jeffrey, the sentient multifunction sporting device- a weapon, a guide, and host to some very unexpected features that will allow you to handle situations creatively, and exploit the verticality of London
Absurdity, word-play and desperation- the key pillars of The Famous British Sense of Humour™
Playable drums
Hideous carpets
Cars that drive on the left
3-pin plugs and sockets
