Description
About This Game
Become the God Behind the Legend
In The Apostle's Ascent, you play as a nameless deity guiding your chosen Apostle through a dangerous world. Your Apostle acts on their own — exploring, fighting, and surviving through autonomous AI decisions. Your role? Shape their destiny from above.
Core Gameplay
- Observe & Influence — Your Apostle explores and battles autonomously. You guide them through divine intervention, not direct control.
- Sacrifice & Earn Favor — Collect Offerings from your Apostle's deeds and sacrifice them to generate divine Favor.
- Choose Boons Wisely — When Favor thresholds are reached, choose from powerful Boons that passively shape your Apostle's abilities.
- Ascend Through Tiers — Progress through mythological tiers from Mortal to Primordial, unlocking increasingly powerful divine gifts.
- Build a Legacy — Each generation of Apostles carries forward your divine influence. Death is not the end — it's a stepping stone.
Key Features
- 106 Unique Boons across 10 mythological tiers
- Roguelite Progression — Permanent progress across generations
- Autonomous AI — Your Apostle thinks and acts independently
- Class-Based Party System — Recruit heroes (Warriors, Mages, Healers) to accompany your Apostle
- Meaningful Choices — Every sacrifice and boon selection shapes your path to godhood
- Procedural Events — No two playthroughs are the same
The Path to Apotheosis
Apotheosis — the act of ascending to godhood — is the ultimate goal. But the path is long, filled with sacrifice, loss, and rebirth. Will your Apostle achieve divinity, or fall like countless others before them?
