The banana on the wall is a commentary on the commodification of art. In today's world, art is often seen as a luxury item only accessible to the wealthy. The banana on the wall challenges this notion by making art accessible to everyone. This is a clear reminder that the art world is a fickle place. What is considered art can change from one moment to the next.
