In Tamo & Tamer, a fossil you dig up can become the companion at your side. Hatch Tamo, build a village together, and take them out into the wild. A companion hauling timber back home can be breathing fire beside you in the next fight.
Find your next companion
Dig into forest soil, search along the water's edge, or work your way into deeper layers. Depth changes your chances of finding rarer fossils, but a species you haven't discovered stays a mystery until it hatches.
Bring your finds back to a village incubator. Once a Tamo emerges, the fossil you carried home becomes a companion you can live with and take on your next trip.Build a village with your Tamo
Gather wood and ore to put up buildings for your growing group. Assign Tamo to gather and haul materials for your next building, or put them to work in the fields to grow food. While they gather supplies and tend crops, you can fish, cook, or add to the village.
Tamo have their own personalities. As they live together, they can become close friends or fall out with one another. Even a hardworking companion can go on strike if hunger and exhaustion leave it stressed. More companions mean more mouths to feed and more places to rest.Choose who fights beside you
Add a Tamo to your party and it leaves its job to follow you. Choose who keeps the village running and who comes along to face wild packs. Your companions fight on their own, while you can move them, focus their attacks on one enemy, or aim their skills during the fight.
Light the braziers in the ruins to take on a giant Tamo. Lose a battle, though, and the contents of your bag stay on the battlefield. With new fossils and materials in your pack, decide whether to keep exploring or head back to the village, store your finds, and set out again.A world that reacts to the elements
Be careful using fire in the forest. A grass fire won't burn a stone wall, but it can spread to nearby wooden buildings.
Putting out the flames with water leaves the ground wet. Use electricity there, and it can travel through the wet ground and nearby metal.Share the adventure
Build a village together in online co-op and share the work. While one player goes looking for fossils, another can gather materials, put up buildings, and prepare food for the return home. When you're ready for another trip, meet up with your Tamo and head out together.
