About This Game
What is Room2Room?
Room2Room is an analog horror game, tasking players with both surviving 'playtest' scenarios in "The House", and using "The Computer" to investigate and uncover the mysteries behind the abnormal Room2Room handheld gaming console.
The main event - step into the shoes of a young playtester in a found-footage styled point-and-click survival horror.
- Name your playtesters.
- Explore The House, room by room, in a realistic VHS aesthetic.
- Open the Room2Room device to swap to a distorted PSX-styled version of each room.
- Make changes in real-life, and see how they affect the Room2Room’s world.
- Solve odd puzzles for uncanny cartoon characters that appear in the device.
- Hide from “home invasions”.
A short break, to compose yourself and prepare.
- Navigate a Windows 95-style company-issued computer.
- View new emails as days pass, download new applications and device upgrades.
- Feeling stuck? Read "Findings" to learn about Room2Room's abnormal character roster to help prepare for new playtests.
- Customize your desktop wallpaper, listen to some tunes.
- Keep track of progress-related achievements.
- Play Pong!
There's a way to uncover more behind this odd, chilling narrative. Only in utilizing elements from both The Computer and The House, can you truly find answers, and make a decision.
