About This Game
Rey: Shattered Darkness is a dark 2D action platformer where precise combat, tight movement, and time-fractured worlds collide. Built for players who love responsive gameplay and satisfying challenges, it delivers a combat-driven journey through broken timelines with a narrative that builds the story further as you progress.
You play as Rey, a lone warrior who stumbles across a tear in her home, and in doing so, is pulled from her own era and thrust into a world collapsing across time. As you explore timelines and fight enemies pulled from distant pasts and possible futures, you’ll unlock new abilities and discover the truth behind the world’s unravelling, while making new friends along the way.
Every era throws something new at you—different enemies, hazards, and challenges—so you’ll need to adapt how you play. One level may reward fast aggression, another might demand patience and positioning. Replayability is also a factor, in that some areas are worth revisiting. The result: a game that keeps evolving alongside your playstyle.
