Who already knows the answer?
QUIZ BREAKER combines four-choice buzzer quizzes with social deduction in five-player online matches. One contestant is the Breaker and secretly knows the answers. Score points while watching for signs that someone knows too much.
Buzz, answer, and read the room
Be the first to buzz in and answer correctly to earn quiz points. Fast answers can help you win, but they can also draw suspicion. Between quiz rounds, discuss what happened and vote for the player you think is the Breaker.
Non-Breaker contestants can earn Bullet Points by answering correctly after losing the buzzer race. Spend them on a Trigger to target a suspect. The roles are assigned again each game, and the highest total quiz score across three games wins the match.
Join solo or play with friends
Online matchmaking fills empty contestant seats with bots after 20 seconds when fewer than five players are waiting. You can join alone; matches with bots still require an internet connection. Create a friend room to play together, with or without a separate host taking the quizmaster role.
Use an external voice service such as Discord to talk during meetings. In-game voice chat is unavailable at launch.
Japanese quizzes and narration, with configurable controls
The interface, quiz questions and quiz narration are in Japanese. The standard narrator is included with the game. Play using a keyboard and mouse, and change the buzzer and answer keys in Settings. Windows XInput controller presets are available for right-hand, left-hand and two-hand play. Use a keyboard for text entry.
Earn outfits, with optional cosmetic purchases
The game includes a basic outfit and the standard buzzer appearance. Earn quiz points through play to exchange for outfits, or purchase Royal Coins through Steam Wallet in the in-game shop for paid outfits and buzzer appearances. Additional purchases are optional and do not purchase scoring or gameplay advantages.
Steam sign-in and an internet connection are required. No separate game account registration is needed.
