Description
The carnival was shut down.
It never closed.
From Deadlight Interactive, PULSE//DEADLINE is a 30-minute narrative horror experience set inside an abandoned carnival that slowly, deliberately begins to wake up around you.
You play as a newly assigned night security guard. Your job is simple: monitor the grounds and report anything unusual.
At first, it’s just wind against loose metal.
Then the lights flicker on.
A carousel begins to turn.
Music plays from nowhere.
And something starts moving between the attractions.
Explore a decaying fairground where each ride tells part of a larger story — one of obsession, disappearance, and something that never left when the gates were locked.
The longer you stay, the more the environment changes. What begins as routine surveillance becomes a fight to understand what is happening — and how to escape it.
PULSE//DEADLINE features optional heart-rate integration.
With a compatible device, the game can:
React to spikes in your pulse
Intensify atmosphere and sound design
Subtly shift environmental behaviour
Adjust tension pacing in real time
No monitor required.
The full 30-minute experience is completely playable without biofeedback — integration simply deepens immersion for those who want it.
30-minute focused horror experience
First-person immersive exploration
Reactive environmental systems
Optional heart-rate integration
Psychological tension over cheap jumpscares
Streamer-friendly short-form format
The rides are running.
The lights are on.
The gates are locked.
Your shift ends at dawn.
If you make it that far...
