Description
About This Game
Some lies are better left buried.
In 1951, Argentina announced to the world that it had mastered the power of the stars on a secret island in Patagonia.
The experiment failed... or so the official story says.
But some truths never disappear. They are only buried.
Proyecto Huemul
Proyecto Huemul is a first-person survival horror game inspired by one of the most enigmatic conspiracies in Argentine history.
Explore abandoned underground facilities, manage scarce resources, and survive whatever remains trapped beneath the surface.
Heir to classic survival horror: the tension of rationing every last resource, a psychological terror that gets under your skin, and the dread of a presence that stalks you in the dark and cannot be fought… or can it?
Survival is the only goal
Every resource matters. Every step can give away your position.
Darkness is more than just the setting—it's a constant threat.
- True survival horror: Limited resources without bloated mechanics.
- Stealth and tension: Sound and movement matter.
- Oppressive atmosphere: Abandoned tunnels, decaying facilities, and immersive sound design.
- An Argentine conspiracy: Uncover the story through environmental storytelling and scattered documents.
- Multiple endings: How you confront what stalks you will determine your fate.
- Adjustable difficulty: From a standard experience to Nightmare Mode with permadeath.
