Description
About This Game
Portucale: Sword and Subtlety
In the brutal dawn of a new kingdom, honor is a luxury and survival is a calculation. Portucale: Sword and Subtlety is a strategic card-battler that strips away the fluff of traditional CCGs to focus on the raw mechanics of power: building prestige, fortifying borders, and the cold-blooded art of sabotage.
Gamers will care about Portucale because it transforms the "defense" phase from a passive wait into a high-stakes economic engine. In this game, your walls don't just stop arrows; they generate the gold required to fund your next conquest. But the true hook lies in the "Cheat" mechanic—a system that weaponizes treachery, allowing players to directly erode an opponent’s hard-earned attributes.
It is a game of "asymmetric friction" where you aren't just playing your cards; you are actively dismantling your rival's legacy. Whether you rule through the absolute authority of the King or the quiet lethality of a well-timed betrayal, Portucale offers a tense, psychological duel where the greatest threat isn't the army at your gates, but the subtlety of the hand you didn't see coming.
