About This Game
In the near‑future, the real world has achieved full‑scale peace and prosperity. Natural landscapes have given way to uniform high‑rise buildings, and the highly‑efficient, orderly society renders human relationships fickle and distant.
PIPE DREAM, a multiplayer online social product combining brain‑computer interfaces and virtual‑reality technology, bursts onto the scene, splitting human life into two halves within a single day —
By day, people study and work following the routines of the real world;
By night, they slip into the virtual world in their sleep to indulge in vibrant nightlife.
To offset the emotional contagion and mental strain brought by activities within the Dream Realm, nutrition‑and‑refreshment stations are scattered across its cities.
You are the shopkeeper of Perfect·K·Night, a refreshment station specializing in parfaits. This dessert shop, located in Peiskos, the oldest city of the Dream Realm, is about to welcome its magical polar night, along with a host of charismatic patrons.
