You woke up as a slime. No hands, no bones, and somehow a farm.
Before you head out, decide what kind of slime you are. Pick your colours, your pattern, how much you glow, what floats around you, and how you get around. Most slimes bounce. Some roll. A few, regrettably, have legs.

No hands means no tools, so you become them. Flatten into a hoe and break ground. Sharpen into an axe and take that stump down. Thirsty field? Drink the river and pour it back out as a watering can.
The blacksmith can make you bigger, sharper and better at your job. Don't ask how.

Every season has its own crops, and every crop dies the night its season ends. Parsnips in spring. Melons in summer. Pumpkins in autumn. In winter, the stubborn few that like the cold.

Four of them you won't find anywhere else. Plant some Glowbells by the house. You'll see why after dark.

Water by hand for a while. Then build sprinklers and never do it again. Feed the soil, speed things up, and put up a scarecrow, because the crows are watching. Leave nine ripe pumpkins in a square and you might wake up to one enormous pumpkin and a long morning with the axe.

Chickens, cows and sheep, all of whom expect breakfast. Turn fruit into jam and wine, milk into cheese, and whatever you grew into dinner.

The town down the road is run by elves, dwarves, goblins, golems, sprites, mushroom folk and a fair few animals. They have jobs, routines and opinions about you. Bring gifts, help out, and turn up to the festival at the end of every season. They notice who shows up.

Under the hill, the Old Mines go down twenty-five floors and get meaner the deeper you go. Turn into a sword or a war mallet and dig for ore anyway.
Then go further. Whisperwood. Driftshell Coast. The ruins under the water that nobody in town likes to talk about.

Rain does your watering for you. Autumn turns the trees gold. Winter snows the whole valley in and makes the mornings very quiet.

Bugs, fish, fossils and flowers all go in the sticker book. Some only come out at night, and some only in the rain.
