About This Game
A Mortal's First Steps
The journey begins in Qi Refinement, with modest cultivation and Gale Lu of the Falling Cloud Sword Sect at your side. Flying swords strike down beasts; treasure chests yield the tools for the road ahead. Gather cultivation and equip your companions until the time comes to cross into the next realm.
Mortal Cultivators: Idle Companions is a desktop idle cultivation RPG. Your squad trains in a small window alongside your daily life. Battles unfold automatically, while the choice of techniques, the refinement of equipment, and the moment of breakthrough remain in your hands.
Companions on the Path
Unlock Violet and Jade Lin, then open additional squad slots to bring all three companions into battle together, each with their own arts.
- Gale Lu · Falling Cloud Sword Sect: Commands flying swords through rapid strikes, charged blows, or attacks that pierce enemies along a line.
- Violet · Wandering Star Talisman Sect: Wields talismans and area techniques against groups of beasts, using control skills to hold enemies at bay.
- Jade Lin · Jade Cauldron Alchemy Sect: Meets enemies at close range with alchemical implements, supporting companions with healing and buffs.
Different foes call for different techniques. Each cultivator has three technique loadouts; adjust attributes, skill combinations, and formation order to meet the next challenge. When the path grows difficult, change your techniques or return to a cleared encounter to gather cultivation and equipment.
Treasures for the Road Ahead
Treasure chests earned through battle contain equipment and materials. Choose weapons, armor, and accessories suited to your companions, then challenge stage bosses for rarer chests.
Crafting, synthesis, and socketing turn your finds into equipment to carry you further. Items no longer needed can be transmuted into gold through alchemy, funding the cultivation yet to come.
At the Threshold of a New Realm
Cultivation accumulates, and your companions advance. At a stage's limit, gather the required gold and choose when to make the breakthrough. Constellation nodes strengthen the squad, increase cultivation and gold rewards, and expand squad slots and inventory space.
Even when you close the game, cultivation and gold accrue as offline rewards based on your selected idle encounter, to be settled upon your return.
The Trading House · Steam Community Market
What one cultivator sets aside may be what another seeks. The full game's launch will include Steam Inventory and Community Market support. Transfer eligible equipment and materials through the in-game Trading House to your Steam Inventory, then sell them on the Steam Community Market. Items purchased from other players can be brought into the game for use.
This feature will be available at the full game's launch. Market trading is not included in the Demo.
