About This Game
MISPLACED is a story-driven psychological horror adventure set within the world of the fictional Church of Balance.
Pray over objects to reveal obscured truths
Take up your rosary and confront unnatural presences
Use your censer to return what has been distorted to its rightful state
St. Agnes Diocese - the place where he lost his wife and child.
Beneath its soil, the two of them rest.
Relying on medication just to make it through each day, Evan believes it is his duty as a priest to purify that place and sets out for St. Agnes.
Through prayer and ritual, confront what lies beyond reality.
Follow the records left throughout the diocese and the stories of its people as you retrace what happened there.
Through his own eyes, Evan begins to see what lies beneath the surface of the world.
Behold.
Explore the diocese and search for letters, journals, reports, and records.
No single account tells the whole story of what happened at St. Agnes.
Only by piecing together the records and traces left by different people can the shape of the incident begin to emerge.
And even a record you have already found may not contain the whole truth.
That which lies beyond balance seepeth through the cracks;
Confront unnatural presences with your rosary and prayer.
But be careful.
The closer Evan comes to the truth, the harder it becomes to keep looking.
You must decide when to stand your ground and when to look away.
when prayer toucheth it, that which is hidden shall be revealed,
Some objects at St. Agnes are shrouded by distortions that obscure the truth.
Look upon them and pray to reveal what has been obscured.
What could not be seen before will come into view.
and when incense is burned, it shall return to its rightful place.
Purify with the censer what prayer has revealed.
Through purification, distorted things are returned to their rightful state.
And clues that once seemed unrelated begin to point toward the same incident.
Gather the scattered pieces and uncover what happened at St. Agnes.
And make your choice.
