【Game Description】
Game Type: 2D side-scrolling platformer
Controls: Movement: ↑↓←→ | Jump: Z | Attack: X | Shapeshift: C
Game Objective: The ground the heroine walks on will "return to normal". Restore all ground to normal to win.
Game Feature: Controlled by desire, the heroine alternates between two forms: "Normal Form" and "Lost Form", struggling between her two sides.
Default State: In this form, she can only jump and move. The ground will be lit up and "return to normal" as she passes through.
Lost Form: Collect 100 "Hearts of Desire" and press "C" to transform into "Lost Form".
In "Lost Form", the player can attack and defeat enemies, but cannot light the path. Energy drains continuously over time. When energy reaches 0, you will lose yourself and the player dies.
You can return to normal state by obtaining "Red Hearts".
The heroine wanders between her two sides. In this game, we will witness her growth, mend the cracks in her heart, and finally accept and embrace the real world outside. May all students who are lost welcome their own beautiful lives.
This is a CiGA Game Jam 48-hour extreme development work.
Only 1 complete level is included, and no future updates are planned. This is my first indie game completed in 48 hours, with gameplay paying homage to the classic Snow Bros.
You need to defeat enemies by jumping and light up all tiles in the room.
There is no complex story, no hidden content, and no New Game Plus.
It is just a simple and pure 2D platformer that records my first attempt at indie game development.
