About This Game
Halloween Gift: Witch Outfit
Once the free demo is out, open HALLOWEEN GIFT on the title screen, visit the Magical Girl store page on Steam (and add it to your wishlist if you like what you see), then come back to the game to claim the protagonist's Halloween Witch outfit. Wear it any time from the Wardrobe.
Good to know: The outfit is claimed and worn in the demo. It changes her look only, never how she fights. Plans for the full release will be announced later. There is currently no end date.

When the last bell rings, she could join a club, grab lunch with friends, or watch the sea from the waterfront. Or she could change into something else entirely and take on what's waiting on the other side of the city.Magical Girl is a pixel-art action adventure where both lives are yours to live.
By day, a regular high schooler
Classes, lunch, hallway chatter. The classmate at the next desk, chats and invitations on your phone, the welcome night, art club, a basketball game, a camping trip, Christmas.Go or don't. Missing something costs nothing, and the game only remembers what you actually did.
Main Street, the diner, the library, the mall, the waterfront, the park. Every corner of the pixel city has someone living their life.
By night, wand up
Chain ground combos into aerial follow-ups, cast on the move, and feel the weight of every dodge and guard. Read enemy warnings, land a Perfect Guard and punish with a counter. Fill your Bloom gauge and unleash an ultimate.
Six styles, six ways to fight
Spend Enhancement Points in your Magic Book to learn moves: fire and ice as the Elemental Mage, the Rage Hammer as the Berserker, lashes and dance steps with the Magic Ribbon, mirrors and echoes as the Mirror Witch, refracted beams as the Prism Witch, pull and meteor falls as the Gravity Witch. Equip one at a time. Switch, and the whole fight changes.
Gravity Witch tip: enemies are much easier to hit when they're floating.
Something is wrong with the city
A harbor in the rain at night, a possessed amusement park, a theatre, a speeding train, rooftops, a department store, a fast-food restaurant, a snowy district, and a forest that isn't quite right. Every region has its own enemies and bosses.Gather forbidden books along the way. The more you carry, the fiercer later battles become.
The Rose Archmage of the forest is in a very good mood today.

Wake up, go again
When your revivals run out, you wake up at home. The forbidden books from that adventure are lost; your growth stays. Pull yourself together and head back into the city.Inside the free demo
Play the opening chapter and school life from September 1 through September 18 in the game. Attend classes, talk with classmates and join early school activities, or transform and take on the city's stranger side.- Try three fighting styles: Elemental Mage, Berserker and Magic Ribbon. Learn moves in the Magic Book and experiment with your approach.
- Explore the Botanical Garden, rooftops, forest and winter district, facing different enemies and bosses.
- Find the first three forbidden books, equip charms and experience character growth and city exploration.
Keyboard controls
Everyday exploration: A / D or Left / Right to move, Shift to run, J or Space for scene actions, F to interact and M to open your phone. Follow the on-screen prompts for specific interactions.Combat: Space to jump, Shift to dodge, J to attack, K to guard, L for ranged attacks, I for a special move and O for your ultimate. Tab opens the Magic Book.
General: T to transform, Esc to pause or go back, and F11 to toggle fullscreen.
