Machines vs Monsters is a roguelite tower defense in space. Build turrets to defeat the monsters that each wave sends at you, choose where the map grows next, and hold your Command Center. Supply drops deal rewards between waves. Every run makes the next one stronger, and each run is unique. Clear a planet, then push on into endless mode or explore other game modes. Play solo, or with up to three friends online.

The monsters walk the road. Everything beside it is yours. Start with railguns, plasma torches and spark coils, then unlock 10 more towers, up to orbital uplinks and drone foundries. Each tower has five levels and a special attack at level four.
You start with 3 buildings: the power plant, the relay pylon and the ore extractor. Explore the stars to unlock many more unique buildings that might just take your next run much further.

Between waves, you choose where the map grows: more road, ore rocks to mine, and salvage buildings to put back to work. Every run's map is different, so no two runs build the same defense.
Spend your gold wisely. Do you build an extra turret, upgrade one from your current lineup, or invest in your economy? Each decision could be the difference between winning and losing, so choose carefully.

After every wave, a supply drop offers three cards and you pick one: towers, buildings and upgrades in four rarities.
Every card in the deck is one you unlocked in the constellation sky, so your deck grows with every run. Boss waves pay out a boss drop instead.

Every planet brings its own monsters and its own bosses. Planet one sends 34 monsters at you from three families of dinosaurs.
Five boss waves take everything you have built to stop. Beat a boss and it may pay out a boss card, a reward no supply drop can give you.

Earn six hero ships by beating bosses and clearing planets. Each one flies above the fight with its own special attack.
Your ships level up to 100 across all your runs, and every ship gets a second special attack at level 50.

Fancy a LAN party with your friends on a Friday night? Or would you rather team up online?
Co-op for 2 to 4 players, online over Steam or on your local network. One board, one Command Center, and every player flies their own ship. Everyone has their own gold, and the team votes on each supply-drop card.

Every run pays out stardust, win or lose. Spend it across 21 constellations and 198 stars to unlock turrets, buildings, cards and starting bonuses.
Clear planet one to open the next planet on the galaxy map, or try one of four extra modes: Gauntlet, Curse Draft, Fixed Ground and Rule Board.
Game speed from 1× to 10× (up to 3× in co-op)
Full key and controller rebinding, partial controller support
A self-composed soundtrack that shifts with the fight
15 interface languages
Accessibility: reduce flashing and motion, colour-blind modes, status and damage shapes as well as colours, interface size up to 150 %, active pause (solo), remappable keys, mouse-only, keyboard-only and gamepad play.
