Description
About This Game
Story
There was a time when Lumen shone without end. Its lighthouses kept the shadows in the corners, and people lived without fear of the dark.
Then the light began to die. The lighthouses fell, the Shadows grew bold, and a hunger took shape at the center of the world — **the Heart of the Darkness**.
Vesper is the last to carry a lantern. Step by step, realm by realm, Vesper descends toward the Heart: across **the Limits** where the last light ends, through **the Threshold** into true dark, past **the Ruins of Light** where the lighthouses once stood, into **the Tide of Shadows** that drains all warmth, and finally to **the Heart of the Darkness** itself.
Defeat the Heart, and a portal opens — but the night still breathes. *To be continued.*
**The five realms**
1. **The Limits** — tutorial; learn the lantern, the phantom platforms and the batteries.
2. **The Threshold** — the descent into true darkness begins.
3. **The Ruins of Light** — the fallen lighthouses; light a beacon to reveal a bridge.
4. **The Memory** — the dark itself damages you; shadows drain your battery.
5. **The Heart of the Darkness** — near-total black, the Stalker, and the final boss.
About the Game
The world of Lumen has gone dark.
You are Vesper, and you carry the last lantern.Light is a tool. Light is a weapon. Light runs out.
- The flash — reveals phantom platforms for a single instant. Memorise the path and cross it blind, because every flash moves it and drains the battery.
- The lantern — freezes the creatures that hunt you and keeps the dark at arm's length.
- The battery — the real timer. Some shadows feed on it. When it empties, the dark stops waiting.
