About This Game
Become a café owner in a foreign country and learn a new language as you grow your business! Open shop in 1 of the 7 cities: Mexico City, Paris, Milan, Berlin, Los Angeles, Shanghai, Seoul, and Kyoto to learn Spanish, French, Italian, German, English, Chinese (Mandarin), Korean, and Japanese!
As you greet customers and serve them the drinks and food items they desire, you pick up authentic language in the most genuine in immersive context. Click on any word to display its meaning and you can toggle the sound and words of the customers’ orders to customize the learning experience to fit your needs. No more boring phrases that you will never use! With Lost Abroad Café, you will be able to order in a coffee shop on your travel in a foreign language in no time, all while having great fun!
Learning a language in the country it’s spoken is the best, because you get instant feedback whenever you use the language. But not everyone can do that. But now, with Lost Abroad Café, you can get instant feedback right in your living room and experience the fun and joy of experimenting to figure out the meaning of sentences and phrase via the response from your customers.
As you perfect your language skills, you can grow your coffee shop by upgrading the equipment and the menu using the hard-earned coins! New equipment opens the options of more advanced ingredients, which in turn unlock new items customers can order that makes you more money! Each country also has its unique items so you will feel that you are working in a real coffee shop there with the added cultural authenticity.
