Description
You’ve come to visit a friend you haven’t seen in years. Room 305 is unlocked, but no one is home. When you try to leave, the apartment building changes.
Familiar doors lead to unfamiliar places, and the traces left by the residents tell conflicting stories. Explore rooms and piece together clues while managing your limited Steps and Sanity. Face the unknown through tabletop RPG–style dice checks.
With each new loop, use what you’ve learned to keep searching for your friend—and a way out.
You It’s the weekend, and you’re visiting a friend.
Vivian A friend you haven’t seen in years. She invited you over to her place.

? A kind passerby… probably?
? Some middle-aged guy who lives in this building.
A little girl.
Explore ever-changing rooms: Click to investigate, choose your route, and explore the apartment’s rooms through a retro interface. Rooms and passageways rearrange across loops. Until you open a door, you never know what you’ll find on the other side.
Face the unknown with attributes and dice: Some investigations and actions use tabletop RPG–style dice checks. Your attributes, equipment, and the clues you’ve uncovered can all affect your chances of success. Take a risk now, or look elsewhere for something that might help? With limited Steps and Sanity, you’ll need to decide how to spend each loop.
Investigate the traces left behind: Examine the residents’ belongings, documents, news reports, maintenance records, and traces of everyday life. Piece these scattered discoveries together into Clues that persist across loops. Different clues can support one another. An anomaly you couldn’t make sense of before may take on new meaning in a later loop, while evidence you’ve already uncovered can help with investigations and checks.
Carry what you’ve learned into the next loop: When your Steps run out or danger leaves you unable to continue, you return to the beginning. You can’t bring back everything you’re carrying, but what you’ve learned stays with you. Major discoveries also grant Insight, allowing you to improve your attributes and expand what you can do. Each loop may take something from you, but it should also bring you closer to a way out.
