About This Game
About Game：
Welcome to Black & White Limbo!
“Calamity is coming. The resentment of the dead will take monstrous form and sweep across the continent.”
Word of Archmage Grey’s prophecy reaches the Ring City. Five warriors versed in exorcism are sent forth. You are the Prince of Might, but your thoughts remain with the seaside town that raised you.
The typhoon has already arrived.
Your hometown has become a haunt of restless spirits. The faces you remember are nowhere to be found. The old king orders you to turn back. But if you abandon this place, who will stand for it?
Set forth, Prince. The dead of your homeland have yet to find peace…
Reclaim Your Homeland. Face the Yokai!
Venture into a pixel-art world overrun by yokai! Take command in turn-based battles and unleash spectacular animated skills. Every exorcist technique gets its moment to shine!
Make your way through storm-ravaged streets and into the creatures’ lairs. Follow the trail of lingering resentment to uncover the source of the catastrophe. Your journey will take you beyond anything the prophecy foretold.
“Those who exorcise monsters shall become monsters themselves…”
You ignored that warning when you set out.
Will you still press on?
…Mr. Hirata? Are You Still Playing?
Shuuichi Hirata only wanted to unwind with a game after work.
Then a baffling murder shatters his routine, and a game console comes under scrutiny.
Can a game kill?
An absurd suggestion. Yet the accounts contradict one another, and something about Hirata’s memories doesn’t add up.
Follow Hirata, Tachibana, and Watanabe as their perspectives unfold. Search for clues across animated scenes of the real world and a pixel world you can explore firsthand. Hear their stories, then decide whom to trust.
As for everything Hirata remembers…
Perhaps that deserves another look, too.
Character Files
Shuuichi Hirata Team Leader of Group A in the Marketing Division at Miura Electric Industries’ Kenhama Branch, and a veteran gamer. Gaming is his favorite way to unwind after work. Mention the actress Mikako, though, and you might get a few more words out of him.
Mikako A popular actress who got her start as an idol with a devoted following. Her name alone is enough to turn heads.
Watanabe Head of Market Division Three at the Kenhama Branch. Composed, pragmatic, and charismatic, Watanabe is almost obsessive about Kenhama’s development and knows Mikako personally.
Tachibana A former police inspector whose rough methods conceal a fierce sense of loyalty. Alongside the case he is pursuing, he carries a secret that weighs heavily on him.
Satou Tachibana’s protégée, a young officer who gets things done. Fond of puns. Whether they’re any good is for her audience to decide.
Shinichiro Fukui General Manager of the Kenhama Branch and Head of Market Division One. Overbearing and harsh, he has been testing his subordinates’ patience for a very long time.
