You and a friend break into Lawncrest Mall, an abandoned shopping mall that's been sitting empty since 1996.

What starts as a little exploring takes a turn when your friend disappears. Then you realize the exit is gone, too.

You keep walking, only to find yourself back in the same corridor.

Something isn't right here.

Lawncrest Mall is a first-person anomaly horror game where your memory is your best chance of escaping. Study your surroundings, spot anything that shouldn't be there, and make the right decisions to break out of the loop.

HOW DO YOU GET OUT?

The rules are simple. Following them is another story.

1. REMEMBER YOUR SURROUNDINGS.

Learn the mall. Pay attention to the storefronts, signs, mannequins, arcade machines, and anything else you pass.

2. LOOK FOR WHAT'S CHANGED.

Each time you return, take another look. Has something moved? Is something missing? Was that sound there before?

Some anomalies are easy to spot. Others are going to make you question your own memory.

3. MAKE THE RIGHT CALL.

Decide whether something has changed or if everything is exactly as you remember it.

Get it right, and you move one step closer to escaping.

Get it wrong, and you're back at the beginning.

4. SURVIVE 12 CONSECUTIVE LOOPS.

Twelve correct decisions stand between you and the exit.

One mistake wipes out your progress.

Think you've got a good memory? You're going to need it.

THE MALL ISN'T COMPLETELY EMPTY.

Most of Lawncrest has been left to rot. The shops are shuttered, the machines are collecting dust, and the lights stopped working a long time ago.

Your flashlight helps you explore the places you probably shouldn't be exploring.

But there's something else wandering around Lawncrest.

And unlike the anomalies, this thing isn't something you're supposed to find.

If you happen to come across it, there's one rule you really need to remember.

Don't shine your flashlight on it.
