One night her sleep is troubled by a nightmare: As she left her apartment building the sharp cold winter air kisses her cheek, cutting through her skin. She walked the streets of the city with pain in her heart. A single tear fell from her face shattering the floor beneath her, and she falls.
She awakes from the nightmare in a gloomy and depressive dimension – The Wake. In that new "reality" she must confront many fears and anxieties in her journey to get out of the Wake.
