Description
The hero has lived as a shut-in for a long time. People scare him, the street scares him, and every night the same nightmare breaks off at the most important moment. Video games are the only place where everything makes sense and where someone is waiting for him.
When his parents kick him out, he moves into the empty apartment of his grandfather — an inventor who vanished without a trace. Now he has to live on his own: eat, sleep, earn money, keep up with chores. He does it the only way he knows — by the rules of video games.
One day a talking cat appears in the apartment. He calls himself a mage from a parallel world, asks for help lifting his curse — and in return promises to lead the hero to his grandfather.
In the parallel world, magic, strange encounters, trials, and a dungeon await. Here, for the first time, the hero isn't afraid to step outside, and step by step he grows stronger. And with that strength come fragments of memory — not every memory is one you want back.
But the further he goes, the more often this world feels suspiciously familiar. And the less it looks like the truth.
