A brief encounter between two people shaped your life.
You grew up without answers. Only questions that have followed you into adulthood. Now it’s time to find the answers.
Search archives, follow rumors, analyze DNA results, and track down clues. People matter just as much as evidence. Witnesses remember incorrectly, rumors distort the truth, and some clues lead nowhere.
Meet all kinds of personalities: genealogists, private investigators, distant relatives, and eccentrics. Some want to help you. Others have something to hide. Your personality affects how people react to you. The right attitude can open doors. Push too hard, and those same doors may close.
Who is the parent you never knew? Follow the clues. Find the truth.
