Description
In 1925, the Harvard University & Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition under George Reisner made one of its greatest discoveries at Giza:
Buried under sand, hidden among other tombs, lay the mysterious tomb G 7000X, which some believe was the final resting place of Queen Hetepheres I., mother of pharaoh Khufu.
Join the expedition that discovered this strange tomb and help them solve the mysteries that lay within.
Narrated by famous Egyptologist and Harvard Professor Peter Manuelian, you can visit a tomb that has been sealed shut for almost a century.
Uncover and restore some of the invaluable artifacts to learn about the researcher's work and how it continues till present times.
The game aims to not only be fun to play for individuals but also to be played in an educational contexts (schools, museums, ...).
Depending on how much time there is per person, you can choose between three modes*:
- Long: Relive the full history of the tomb (Playtime: ~30 min)
- Short: Focus on modern archeological work (Playtime: ~15 min)
- Exhibition: Only the final exhibition (Playtime: ~5 min)
* Each experience ends with players being able to explore the final exhibition.
