Handset HQ

A pixel-art smartphone company management simulation game created by a solo developer. The developer thinks it turned out pretty well—at least, it's a fun game to play! Start from a small company and grow step-by-step through management, hiring, and building until you become number one in the world

A pixel-art phone company management sim. Start in a garage and decide your phones’ market tier, key features, chipset, and design, then set budgets for R&D, pricing, marketing, and production. Develop this month and choose a launch week next month: launch early for more time on sale, or launch later for a higher production yield. Every release is put to the test through sales and reputation

From feature phones to smartphones and then AI phones, the times won’t wait for you. Supply chain shocks and price wars lie ahead, market preferences keep shifting, and rivals are fighting for market share. Make the most of crisis warnings two months in advance and decide how your company will weather the storm

Hire staff, expand factories, upgrade facilities, take on contract manufacturing, sign celebrity endorsements, and build your headquarters. Find the balance between growth and cash flow. Thirty-three industry legends will visit: hire them as long-term advisors for a fee, or learn a trick for free to use on your next phone. When things get busy, your four old school friends can take over day-to-day management

Six endings await, from bankruptcy to becoming the world’s number one. After forty years, your performance is judged by market share, prestige, and company size. Start a second playthrough with 10% of your previous assets and your entire Hall of Honors, plus two exclusive endings to discover. Your third playthrough unlocks endless management. Enjoy pixel-art visuals and music and sound effects synthesized during gameplay, with Simplified Chinese, Japanese, and English available to switch between at any time
