About This Game
In this fantasy Kingdom, you are a retired adventurer running a monster-hunting guild from behind the desk. Your job is to question clients, identify what attacked them, assemble the right party, and live with the consequences of your decisions.
Investigate every contract. Ask the right questions, then use the evidence to identify the monster and uncover its true nature.
Build the right party. Hunters have different powers, traits, equipment, and specialties. A good matchup will turn a deadly mission into a clean victory.
Run the guild your way. Hire and train hunters, extend the guild, refer contracts you don’t want, and choose when you are ready to take on a higher rank.
Reward exceptional preparation. Push a mission far beyond simple success to earn secret rewards that strengthen your roster and unlock new tactical options.
Deal with the consequences. Dead heroes stay dead - reckless treatment might cause the Kingdom to run out of heroes for good and all.
Clients rarely know what attacked them. Asking the right questions narrows down the possibilities. An experienced guild master may recognize a creature from only one or two details, but every extra question costs valuable time. Mistakes lead to miscalculations, failures, wounds, and deaths of your heroes.
Every hunter develops over time. They gain experience, level up, equip weapons and armor, and acquire strengths that make them better suited to hunt particular monsters and counter dangerous traits.
Yet they are not just units. They have personalities, history, and are willing to talk about the latest news. Keep their morale high, the guild clean, their salaries paid on time, and their stomachs filled, and they will perform better on the orders.
A successful mission gets the job done, but an outstanding mission result can bring home a treasure chest containing extra loot. Use it to unlock new features of your guild and make your heroes stronger.
