About the Game

Ground Pounders is a hex-based, turn-based strategy wargame. Inspired by classic strategy games like Panzer General, and steeped in the lore of the Sword of the Stars universe, Ground Pounders offers a new generation of gamers an updated taste of turn-based strategic warfare. Best of all, you can play it cross platform between desktop machine and mobile devices.

Ground Pounders lets players control an army from one of two factions. Each army is comprised of dozens of different unit types. You will lead your ground pounders across a variety of worlds, increase their experience levels and abilities over the course of two campaigns, and use them to unlock special action cards that can add special effects to single-player games, or to up the stakes in your cross-platform multi-player battles.

Win the Human campaign.

Win the Hiver campaign.

Destroy any 2 units with 1 attack.

Destroy any 3 units with 1 attack.

Attack with your unit and your unit is destroyed.

Successfully commit an attack with a 10-1 odds in your favor.

Lose an air unit in an air combat.

Attack and destroy an enemy unit with an artillery unit on point.

Destroy an opponent and survive with a 1-1 odds or less.

Complete any scenario with only 1 unit remaining.

Achieve a 1-1 odds or lower with your defensive support.

Achieve a 1-3 odds or lower with your defensive support.

Win any scenario with Space Superiority without using any Space Superiority cards.

Win a scenario without losing any of your units.

Win a scenario without using any Reinforcement Points if Reinforcement Points are available.

Lose a scenario with Space Superiority.

Commit an attack and lose with a 1-3 odds or less.

Commit an attack with a unit, have that unit get destroyed while not causing any damage to the target.

Successfully commit an attack with a 10-1 odds and a 6 dice result in your favor.

Complete any campaign with $100 or more unspent funds.

Attack or defend with a missile unit 5 times.

Destroy 5 air units in air to air combat.

Destroy 352 air units in air to air combat.

Win 100 combats with an armoured unit.
