Groder Reborn is a physics sandbox set in Mercer County, a small town surrounded by mountains. Play on your own or join friends to drive, build, fight and experiment. Spawn a few cars, set up an obstacle course, or load a custom game mode and see what your group makes of it.
A body that reacts
Grab and shove objects, charge a jump, tumble through the air and get back on your feet. Impacts can knock you down, and injuries affect individual body parts. Carry bandages, treat bleeding and help an injured friend back into the action.Cars you actually drive
Choose from sedans, coupes, pickups, vans and supercars. Change gears yourself, watch the revs and take the roads through town. Open the doors, climb into a seat and feel the suspension work over a curb or a rough landing. Two hands and five inventory slots
Weapons, magazines and supplies are objects you carry. Keep track of what is in each hand, remove a spent magazine and load a fresh one. Use pistols, submachine guns, rifles and shotguns, with physical weapon handling and sights.Explore Mercer County
Walk through town squares, residential streets, industrial blocks and the high-rise district. Explore furnished buildings, cross the river or head to the pool. Doors swing, windows break, and the sandbox tools let hosts place vehicles, props and equipment wherever the session needs them.Play together
Host a sandbox, invite friends through Steam or join a server from the browser. Talk through proximity voice chat, share equipment and save your sandbox to return to it later. The modding SDK is included
Open the standalone Groder Reborn SDK to make maps, game modes, weapons, vehicles, characters, effects and content addons. Start with an example project, follow the built-in tutorials, then test your work in the game. Tutorials can be skipped and reopened whenever you need them.
Build game-mode rules in the editor, or write Lua in your preferred external code editor. The included handbook covers importing assets, scripting, testing and exporting addons. Unreal Editor is not required to use the SDK.Steam Workshop
Browse community creations and share your own mods through Steam Workshop. Add new places, equipment and rules to your sessions, or use them as a starting point for your next project.
