About This Game
The world has stories beyond your sight
As you follow the road, villagers return to work and other adventurers head toward their next destination. GEKOKUJO: Vagrant Crown is a third-person Living World RPG about traveling with your wolf companion. Not everyone in this world is waiting for you to arrive.
A wolf at your side
Cross forests, follow riverside roads, and pause in villages along the way. Your Wolf Companion is more than a pet: a fellow traveler on the journey. Look beyond the next objective and discover the scenery and encounters between destinations.
The people you meet have lives of their own
Villagers and wandering adventurers have daily routines and goals. Work, rest, travel, and social ties continue while you explore elsewhere. We are building a world where remembering someone's name—and meeting them again—can mean more than another line of dialogue.
Your adventure leaves a trace
Encounters and witnessed events can live on through memories and rumors. The people you meet and the relationships you form connect one encounter to the next. A story heard on the road may offer a glimpse of what happened beyond your sight. This is the kind of adventure we are developing: one that reaches beyond the moment in front of you.
Travel, fight, and grow together
Journey with companions, take on requests, and shape your approach to battle through equipment and jobs. Long-term Party Members and people who join for a particular purpose play different roles. Meeting, fighting alongside, and parting with others are all part of the journey.
Battle, jobs, and companion coordination are still being refined. Confirmed party sizes, available jobs, and individual events will be announced as their scope is finalized.
A world still taking shape
GEKOKUJO is a pre-release game in development. We are bringing exploration, NPC encounters, requests, and battle together so that one meeting can lead to the next story. Images include work-in-progress content. The full game and demo have different content scopes.

Individuals and organizations are welcome to create gameplay streams, livestreams, Let's Plays, reviews, video essays, promotional coverage, clips, Shorts, and other gameplay videos featuring GEKOKUJO: Vagrant Crown or its publicly released demo. No prior permission, registration, or notification is required.
Publish on YouTube, Twitch, Niconico, TikTok, or other platforms in accordance with their rules. Monetization through advertising, memberships, donations, Super Chats, sponsorships, and standard creator programs is welcome.
